Red Sea Farms is reducing the carbon and water footprint of our food sector by developing and delivering environmentally sustainable, saltwater-based agricultural systems.


Founded by world-renowned plant scientist Mark Tester and agriculture engineering expert Ryan Lefers, the Red Sea Farms team is committed and dedicated to solving one of today’s greatest problems—how to feed the world in the face of diminishing resources.

We care about the planet just as much as we care about people. In turn, Red Sea Farms combines impact with innovation through saltwater-based agriculture products, systems, and services that are environmentally and economically sustainable and help support the nutritional needs of water-scarce populations.
